Tony Miceli and Oliver Mayman
Internationally renowned jazz vibraphonist Tony Miceli has established himself as one of the primary voices on the mallet instrument, winning hearts and minds wherever he plays. A sought-after recording artist, Miceli is an inspired educator who delivers vibraphone master classes the world over, enriching the students of Ireland, Germany, South Korea, Italy, for example, with an accompanying concert finale. Miceli promotes the instrument through his brainchild, vibesworkshop.com, a virtual meeting place and teaching tool for some 4000 student and professional members. He is also the co-creator of the World Vibes Congress, a formal gathering of players who share the desire to bring public awareness to the vibraphone. It is worth noting that Miceli is part of Team Omega, an elite group of vibes players that includes only three others, headliners David Friedman, Joe Locke, and Stefon Harris.
As a group leader, sideman, and recording artist, he has performed with musicians such as David Liebman, Jimmy Bruno, Ken Peplowski, John Blake, Diane Monroe, John Swana, Joe Magnarelli, Steve Slagle, Larry McKenna, Gerald Veasley and many others. Chris’s Jazz Café, Philadelphia’s premier jazz club, is a frequent gig for Miceli and friends, and he performs annually at the Percussive Arts Society convention in Indianapolis.
Patricio Acevedo, Shinjoo Cho, and Jake Kelberman
Patricio Acevedo is a guitarist, singer, percussionist, composer, and arranger who specializes in Latin American string instruments such as the Andean Charango, the Venezuelan Cuatro, Colombian Tiple and Brazilian Cavaquinho. Patricio’s music invokes the echoes the tradition of his native country Chile, fluent in poetry and vibrant melodies. He holds a degree in music theory and analysis from the University of Chile. He studied classical guitar at the Santiago Music Academy in Chile and conducting with Genaro Burgos. Patricio was Burgos’ assistant conductor to the youth orchestra of the University of Chile for three years. He has taught classical guitar and music theory, and co-produced, composed music, and acted in numerous plays for children. He has been living in the US since 1991 where he has been a full-time music teacher. In Philadelphia, Patricio studied with Martin Knoblauch and acted as his assistant conductor for the Chestnut Hill Community Orchestra. Currently he teaches at the Creative Arts High School in Camden where he formed a student-led Brazilian ensemble, the first string orchestra in Camden, and the first symphonic orchestra in the school district in more than 30 years. He is a founding member of such ensembles as the Chilean group Páramo (Latin American songs), Alô Brasil (Brazilian traditional music), and Pagode Project (Brazilian fusion), as well as the “Notsolatin Concert Series”. He has also performed in the Pennsylvania Ballet’s production of Don Quixote. Patricio just finished his first solo album.
Bandoneonist, accordionist and pianist, Shinjoo Cho is a solo and chamber musician embodying many musical traditions. She has collaborated with international musicians and choreographers and has performed in prestigious concert halls and theaters throughout the U.S., Canada, Korea, and South America. She participated in the Marlboro Music Festival under the baton of Leon Fleisher and appeared as a guest soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra. Shinjoo’s notable appearances include solo piano performance for the President of Argentina and Teatro Colón debut with the Branford Marsalis Quartet during the Buenos Aires Jazz Festival. She is currently director of the contemporary & tango music ensemble Oscuro (oscooro) Quintet and a member of Aces of Rhythm in NY.
Jake Kelberman is a guitarist, composer, and educator originally from Philadelphia, PA. He has performed and recorded with artists including Wycliffe Gordon, Ulysses Owens Jr., Walt Weiskopf, Deana Martin, Terell Stafford, Josh Lawrence, and Chelsea Reed. As a composer, he has been commissioned by the Philadelphia Jazz Project to write music inspired by the work of environmental photographer Edward Burtynsky and has collaborated with choreographer Peter Chu, composing new music for works which have been performed by The Juilliard School, The Charlotte Ballet, Gibney Dance Company, and Giordano Dance Chicago. Jake is a professor of jazz guitar at Temple University and has worked as a teaching artist with universities and organizations from around the world. Jake is a member of the Global Leaders Program 2020 cohort, holds a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance and Political Science from Temple University, and a masters’ degree in Jazz Studies from the Juilliard School under the direction of Wynton Marsalis.

Adah Kaplan and Knox Oakey
Adah Kaplan (b. 2006) studies composition with Melissa Dunphy and violin with Kimberly Fisher. Her playing has received recognition from the Pennsylvania MTNA, Tricounty Annual Youth Festival, Crescendo International Music Competition, Bloomsburg Young Artist Competition, and Elite International Music Competition. This is Adah’s sixth year in the Philadelphia Sinfonia Association, where she is the Concertmaster of both Philadelphia Sinfonia and Philadelphia Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra. Adah also currently plays in the Penn Symphony at the University of Pennsylvania and has previously played in Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. She frequently plays as Concertmaster with the Center City Chamber Orchestra. In 2019, Adah was selected for the Settlement Advanced Studies program, and remains the violinist of the Ben and Carol Auger Contemporary Music ensemble -- a violin and piano duo that exclusively plays contemporary music and is directed by Linda Reichert. Recently, Adah’s solo violin piece “whitewashed” was performed multiple times around the country and recorded by Lara St. John for her latest album, She/Her/Hers. Adah has two orchestral pieces set to premiere this Spring: “she dances toward the light” by the Lawrenceville School’s orchestra, and “waltz for a hesitant era” by the Philadelphia Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra.
Knox Oakey (b. 2005) is a pianist from Richmond, Virginia. He is both a solo performer and an avid collaborative musician, and he has performed in Vermont, New York, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. He has received awards in the Music & More Summerfest Concerto Competition, the Anselmo Academy Youth Competition, and the Clara Mannes Scholars' Program. Knox studies piano with Tatjana Rankovich and conducting with Scott Jackson Wiley. He has enjoyed experience in piano trios and quintets, as an accompanist, as a concerto soloist, and as a conductor. He studied at Mannes School of Music's precollege program in Manhattan. Knox has played with Adah Kaplan in the Auger Ensemble, coached by Linda Reichert, since September of 2022. He is passionate about performing solo and chamber music ranging from Baroque to contemporary, as well as styles beyond classical.

Gesenia Gerena and Dave Hartl
Gesenia, originally from Philadelphia, is a self-taught singer. She learned how to sing by listening to artists such as Whitney Houston, Celia Cruz, Aretha Franklin, La Lupe, and Linda Ronstadt. All of these legendary ladies became a part of her musical identity, and through them, she learned how to interpret the meaning and feeling of a song. Gesenia is a lover of music. She believes music is a universal language that is powerful, inviting, freeing, and most of all, a healing agent that can bring people together to reveal the bond we all have, as human beings. Her dearest project is Ronstadt Revue. Her group, which includes Dave Hartl as their keyboardist, celebrates the life and the music of Ms. Linda Ronstadt. Dave Hartl has been playing music in a wide variety of styles for decades in the Philadelphia/ South Jersey area. Currently working as a solo pianist and with The Ronstadt Revue, The Divine Hand Ensemble, jazz chanteuse Paula Johns, Musical Collusion, and several other Philadelphia ensembles, he composes, arranges, and plays piano, synths, accordion, guitar, bass, and Chapman Stick. Past experiences include over 60 musical theater productions, over 20 years on the faculty of the University of the Arts, and international performances with various artists such as Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Andrea Bocelli, Joni Mitchell, The Three Degrees, LaToya Jackson, and Mary Wilson & the Supremes. Anne Slovin
Anne Slovin, soprano, is currently a fourth-year doctoral student in voice at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music. An avid performer of both contemporary opera and Jewish music, this spring Anne premiered the role of Anne Frank in Shulamit Ran and Charles Kondek's opera based on the Diary of a Young Girl, and in 2015 she created the role of Mica Segal in Wlad Marhulets and Stephanie Fleichmann's The Property at Lyric Opera of Chicago. She has also recently delved into the multi-genre world of cabaret, participating in the prestigious St. Louis Cabaret Conference and performing at Don't Tell Mama's piano bar in New York City. Anne is a private voice teacher and professor of musical theater history and voice pedagogy currently based in Bloomington, IN.

Terry Eder
Pianist Terry Eder has performed to audience and critical acclaim in France, Italy, Germany, Canada, the U.S., China and Singapore, as well as major halls in NYC, including Carnegie’s Zankel Hall and Lincoln Center. The critics described her recital at Alice Tully Hall as a “fascinating performance full of life and risk.” She was further described as “a big pianist with big ideas and a warmly engaging rapport." She has given master classes and lecture/recitals at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Oberlin Conservatory and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore, among other places. She has released three CDs, including a Bartók disc that was featured in Gramophone Magazine and on David Dubal’s radio show: The Piano Matters. She is the founder and artistic director of Key Pianists, a concert series at Carnegie Hall., where she presents seasoned and inspiring performers. Tahira and Darnell Miller
A 2023 Delaware Division of the Arts Master Fellow in Oral Literature, Tahira is a storyteller, musician, vocalist, and songwriter. She had the prestigious honor of performing at the internationally acclaimed festival PANAFEST, in Ghana, West Africa. Tahira is a Lifetime Member of the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc. and recipient of its highest service award, the Linda Jenkin Brown’s Nia Award. Master storyteller, TAHIRA will share the story, The Rainbow Goddess, inspired by the book, The How: Notes on the Great Work of Meeting Yourself by Yrsa Daley-Ward, with with guitarist Darnell Miller.

Darnell Miller is a Delaware singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and arts educator. He released his first solo EP, "Jesus & Jameson," on his own Hidden Palace Ent label. He has toured and played with gospel artists such as Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, and Israel Houghton and has appeared on albums by Eric Roberson. The single, Freedom Call, written by TAHIRA and executive produced by Darnell, won the Delaware Public Media Best Collaboration Award in June 2021.

Rated Art AKA Marcus Bryant is an award-winning singer, songwriter and producer whose success over the years makes him a well-respected figure in the music industry. He has over 20 years of experience writing, producing and directing in multiple genres. Marcus collaborates with the world’s most notable artists, including John Legend, H.E.R., Ludacris, Elliot Yamin and more. His song, “If You’re Out There”, was used as Obama’s campaign anthem and performed during the Democratic National Convention, also featured on hit shows “American Idol” and “Black-ish”, and in global campaigns including NBA Cares. He is signed with Sony Music Publishing and is the current secretary/voting member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Recording Academy/GRAMMYs. Abby Lee
Growing up glued to the side of her mother’s piano, Abby Lee taught herself to sing by way of showtunes, jazz standards, Motown and The Beatles. Like any good child of the 80’s and 90’s, she also developed a healthy obsession with hair metal ballads and Whitney Houston’s Bodyguard soundtrack. Known for her powerhouse vocals and dynamic range, Abby seamlessly performs a mix of genres, from pop to blues to metal. Based in Philly, she performs regularly at bars, casinos and restaurants up and down the Northeast coastline. She is currently working on her first original EP inspired by her love of blues rock.

Carol Morgan-Eagle and Daniel Pretends Eagle
Husband and wife duo, Carol Morgan-Eagle and Daniel Pretends Eagle have been writing and performing music together for over 20 years. After meeting in the music scene of Los Angeles in the 80’s, they moved to Taos, New Mexico where the inspiring beauty of the vast landscape and rich history of the Southwest have found its way into their music. Performing both nationally and internationally, they have also composed music for the Albuquerque Museum exhibit “Only In Albuquerque “ and appeared in the movie starring Paul Rudd, "Ideal Home".
